Gubkin University Students at the Eco-Festival "Yashel Adym - Green Step 2025"
From July 6 to July 9, 2025, the eco-festival "Yashel Adym - Green Step 2025" was held in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan), in which students of Gubkin University took part.
"Yashel Adym - Green Step" is an international student forum aimed at involving young people in an active environmental life position. The project was approved by PJSC Tatneft in order to maintain stable environmental development and careful attitude to the resources of Russia. The forum was held at the Higher School of Oil in the technological student campus and brought together more than 150 participants from Russia and other countries.
The goal of the eco-festival was to form a unified community of students to develop eco-volunteer movements, to form an environmentally responsible attitude of students to the environment. After the opening of the festival, as part of the program, the participants had to solve cases in five areas: "EcoWave", "EcoAir", "EnergyBoom", "EcoFauna" and "EcoSoul". The objectives of the cases were to find innovative solutions that would help preserve the planet for future generations. In addition, over the course of three days, students were given master classes, trainings, thematic excursions, an excursion to the eco-village of Aktobe, and the participants also listened to a number of lectures in each of the areas. Gubkin University was represented at the eco-festival by members of the student scientific society and the student trade union committee, students of the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of Oil and Gas Olga Nikolaeva, the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology Egor Kostitsyn, the Faculty of Economics and Management Ilona Kosenko, Rukhangez Makhramova and Anfisa Tsvetkova.
Representation of members of the student scientific society of Gubkin University at external venues is implemented within the framework of a subsidy from the federal budget to educational organizations of higher education for the implementation of events aimed at supporting student scientific communities" within the framework of the program for the development of the student scientific society of the university "Unifying Science: from Popularization to Practice".
