University Master’s Degree students presented their developments at the 7th Congress with International Participation on the Processing and Recycling of Man-Made Formations, "TECHNOGEN-2026"
On June 24, 2026, the 7th Congress with International Participation on the Processing and Recycling of Man-Made Formations, "TECHNOGEN-2026," opened in Moscow. The event was held for the first time in Moscow with the support of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK).
The congress brought together more than 70 representatives from universities, research organizations, and enterprises. The two-day program included four sections, including a plenary session discussing modern technical solutions for processing man-made waste as a source of valuable raw materials with maximum extraction of useful components.
Gubkin University Master’s Degree students from the HTMS-25-04 group and members of the student scientific society, Tatyana Kosmynina and Elisey Stepanov, presented at the congress. Following the event, participants were awarded medals for their research. The scientific advisors were Associate Professor Egor Burov, PhD in Chemistry, and Associate Professor Tatyana Smirnova, PhD in Engineering.
The key areas of the congress included:
- Research on the structure and properties of industrial products;
- Resource and energy-saving processes in a closed-loop economy;
- Recycling of industrial waste with the organization of waste-free production;
- Application of artificial intelligence and digitalization methods to improve the environmental safety of production;
- Circular economy and challenges of greening the technosphere.
Representation of members of the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society at external venues is carried out as part of the university's Student Scientific Society development program, "Strategy for New Discoveries."
