Results of the 24th All-Russian Student Olympiad in Hydraulics

From November 24 to 26, 2025, the 24th All-Russian Student Olympiad in Hydraulics was held at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University). Forty-five students from 12 Russian universities participated in the Olympiad.

For the first time, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) was represented by two teams – the Faculty of Design, Construction, and Operation of Pipeline Transport Systems and the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development. They took first and second place, respectively, in the team competition. Third place was awarded to the team from the Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University.

According to the minutes of the jury meeting for the third round of the XXIV All-Russian Student Olympiad in Hydraulics, held on November 26, 2025, the individual placings were as follows:

– First place – Boris Ilyenkov (third-year student, major 21.05.05.01 "Physical Processes of Oil and Gas Production", Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University));
– Second place – Georgy Oganezov (third-year student, majoring in "Oil and Gas Engineering", program 21.03.01.05 "Operation and Maintenance of Oil, Gas, and Refined Product Transportation and Storage Facilities", Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University));
– Third place – Ilya Spiridonov (third-year student, major 08.05.01.02 "Construction of Highly Critical Hydraulic Structures," Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University).

The excursion to the Offshore Drilling Center, which was attended by Olympiad participants and team leaders, generated great interest.
