Member of the student scientific society at the 15th All-Russian Youth Ecological Forum-Festival "Arctic. The Ice Has Broken"

From July 27 to July 31, 2025, the 15th All-Russian Youth Ecological Forum-Festival "Arctic. The Ice Has Broken" was held in Khanty-Mansiysk - a large-scale event in the field of environmental education and the development of the youth environmental movement. Member of the student scientific society of Gubkin University Alisa Petrovicheva took part in the forum.

The forum, expanding its boundaries, combined traditional formats with interactive festival activities and business events. The event brought together 500 volunteer environmentalists, schoolchildren and students, scientists and researchers of the Arctic. The forum was able to gather participants from 64 regions of the country. The forum was also attended by residents of other countries: young people from Austria, Moldova, Italy, Cyprus, Spain and other countries.

As part of the forum, various meetings, trainings and equally interesting lectures were organized for the participants, where topics of biodiversity, climate problems, recycling and the urban environment were raised. The topic of protecting the Arctic zone was discussed, environmental measures to protect the northern territories of Russia were designed. Meetings were held with representatives of oil companies, at which the participants learned about the benefits and priorities of working in the Arctic zone and that everyone has great opportunities for career growth and development.

The forum participants took part in the environmental project "Grow, sturgeon" - an annual event held by the Lower Ob branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Glavrybvod". The goal of the project is to exclude a rare species from the Red Book of Russia. Everyone was able to give a new life and release a sturgeon into the Irtysh River.

During the forum, a project competition was held, where students defended their project works. A member of the student scientific society, a student of the HT-24-04 group of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology Alisa Petrovicheva presented a research paper ""Ivan-tea" or "Ivan-tea" - tea or medicinal herb." The work aroused genuine interest, impressed with the scale of the research and equipment used in the study of tea.

The forum became a platform for communication between young people interested in preserving and ensuring favorable conditions in the Arctic zone, as well as acquiring and developing new skills.

Representation of members of the student scientific society of Gubkin University at external venues is implemented within the framework of a subsidy from the federal budget to educational organizations of higher education for the implementation of events aimed at supporting student scientific communities within the framework of the development program of the student scientific society of the university "Uniting Science: from Popularization to Practice".
