Meeting with a Yandex 360 Representative
On October 1, 2026, at 5:15 PM, a meeting with a Yandex 360 representative took place in room TsA-04, organized by the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society.
The speaker was Sergey Likhachev, Head of Educational Institution Relations at Yandex 360. During the meeting, participants learned about Yandex’s career and educational opportunities and internship programs, as well as digital tools applicable to academic, project-based, and team activities.
Internships at Yandex were a key topic of the meeting. Students were informed about the opportunity to work on real-world tasks within product teams, supported by a mentor. Depending on the specific program, internships can last three, four, or six months, with a workload of 20, 30, or 40 hours per week. Successfully completing an internship can lead to a continued career path within the company.
Sergey Likhachev also spoke about the Young&&Yandex educational ecosystem. Students learned about specialized events, academic competitions and championships, developer training programs, career counseling, entry-level professional programs, and professional communities. These formats offer opportunities to further develop practical skills, network with industry experts, and prepare for future professional recruitment processes.
The second part of the meeting focused on the "Yandex 360" ecosystem for organizations and its potential applications in an educational setting. Participants were introduced to services for communication, data storage, collaboration, and project management.
Practical examples demonstrated how these tools facilitate collaborative work on documents and files, video conferencing, event planning, task allocation within a team, data collection (such as requests and feedback), knowledge base creation, and project management.
Special attention was given to the integration of artificial intelligence technologies within the ecosystem's services. "Yandex Documents" features YandexGPT-based tools for text processing, while the presentation also showcased "Alice AI for Business"—a digital assistant that integrates with "Yandex 360" workplace services and is designed to handle tasks within an organizational context.
The meeting enabled students to explore career opportunities at a major technology company while gaining insight into modern digital tools for managing team and project-based work.
This event was organized as part of the "Strategy of New Discoveries" development program for the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society.
