Gubkin University Students at the International Scientific and Practical Forum "No Statute of Limitations. Nuremberg. 80 Years"
On November 21, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Forum "No Statute of Limitations. Nuremberg. 80 Years" was held at the Great Patriotic War Museum on Poklonnaya Gora.
Gubkin University representatives at the forum included Vyacheslav Kalinov, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Zarema Musayeva, Deputy Dean for Academic, Educational, and Social Work; Victoria Mikhedova, Head of the Advertising and Information Support Department; Alexander Shcherbina, Head of the International Student Services Department; students from the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering; the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development; the Faculty of Design; the Faculty of Construction and Operation of Pipeline Transport Systems; and international students.
The event discussed a wide range of issues related to the implementation of the Federal Law "On Perpetuating the Memory of the Victims of the Genocide of the Soviet People during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945," and the role of the media in preventing attempts to rehabilitate Nazism, falsify history, and violate the fundamental principles of international law established at Nuremberg.
The presentations emphasized the important role of history courses in higher education institutions, as well as various forms of extracurricular historical and patriotic education for students.
Following the forum, Victoria Mikhedova and Alexander Shcherbina organized a tour for students entitled "The Path to Victory."
