Gubkin University at the BRICS+ Open Science Week

Gubkin University actively participated in the BRICS+ Open Science Week, held at the Tashkent Polytechnic Museum from October 26 to November 6, 2025. The event, organized as part of the federal project "Popularization of Science and Technology," attracted a wide audience to the achievements and prospects for the development of science and technology in the BRICS+ countries.

Students from the Tashkent branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU), led by Victoria Mikhedova, Head of the Advertising and Information Department, presented an interactive exhibit at the university's booth dedicated to Gubkin University's role in the development of innovation and technology in the oil and gas industry and the current opportunities for graduates in the industry. Visitors to the booth also learned about the importance of developing the fuel and energy complex and the oil and gas sector within it.

Guests were particularly interested in the games and competitions that allowed them to touch "black gold" and learn about the widespread use of oil and gas in everyday life. Young visitors enthusiastically participated in sorting hydrocarbon products, expanding their knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Gubkin University's participation in the BRICS+ Open Science Week was an important step in popularizing science and technology and strengthened international cooperation in education. The event demonstrated the university's commitment to engaging young people in scientific research and fostering an environmentally responsible worldview.
