Gubkin University at the 25th International Exhibition "Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry" "Neftegaz 2026"

Gubkin University actively participated in the 25th anniversary international exhibition "Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry" "Neftegaz 2026," held from March 2 to 5, 2026, at the Crocus Expo IEC. During the event, the university presented cutting-edge scientific developments, signed an important cooperation agreement, and made a significant contribution to the business program.

The exhibition, organized by EXPOCENTRE JSC with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, is a key platform for showcasing achievements in the oil and gas industry.

On March 3, 2026, a cooperation agreement was ceremoniously signed between Gubkin University and REGLAB LLC, a leading Russian developer of industrial automation software. The document was signed by Andrey Ulyanov, CEO of REGLAB LLC, and Pavel Kalashnikov, Vice Rector for Research at Gubkin University. This agreement opens new prospects for joint developments and technological solutions.

On the same day, Victoria Fedorova, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic Management in the Fuel and Energy Complex, presented a paper on "LNG as a Factor in the Transformation of Natural Gas Markets" at the roundtable discussion "LNG as the Basis for the Evolution of the Gas Market."

On March 4, 2026, at the National Oil and Gas Forum, Valery Konurkin, Professor of the Department of Special Programs, represented Gubkin University at the session "Unmanned and Robotic Systems for Energy: New Challenges and Modern Solutions."

Valery Bessel, Professor of the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines, moderated the conference "Towards Technological Leadership: Challenges, Ideas, Solutions." As part of the discussion, Alexey Arkhipov, Associate Professor of the Oil and Gas Well Drilling Department, presented a paper on "Using Machine Learning Methods and Elements of Artificial Intelligence to Prevent Complications During Well Construction," emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in improving the efficiency and safety of drilling operations. Maria Gusarova, Head of the Congress and Exhibition Department, participated in the discussion "Human Capital 2.0: How Young People Are Changing Corporate Culture in the Oil and Gas Industry," emphasizing the importance of attracting and developing young professionals.

At the Gubkin University booth, visitors were introduced to unique developments from the Department of Oil Field Development and Operation, including a mobile system for low-temperature stabilization of oil and gas condensate, hydrogen sulfide removal technology using cavitation treatment, and mobile preliminary water discharge systems. The activities of the Gubkin Publishing House were also presented.

Activists from the Gubkin University student union provided invaluable assistance by volunteering for the exhibition's business program, demonstrating a high level of preparation and student engagement.
