A university professor has been elected to the Presidium of the International Academy of Technological Sciences.

At the general meeting of the International Academy of Technological Sciences, held on October 2, 2025, Professor Alexey Lopatin, Head of the Department of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engines, was elected to the Academy's Presidium.

The International Academy of Technological Sciences is an international non-governmental public association whose primary goal is to consolidate the efforts of technology scientists from various countries, whose activities are aimed at accelerating the development of science-intensive, environmentally friendly technologies. Founded in 1991, it is the first industry-specific academy of sciences specializing in conversion and information technologies for key sectors of the Russian economy.
