Gubkin University Ranked Among Green Universities in Russia

The All-Russian "Green Universities of Russia" program has announced the results of its 2024 ranking of green universities. Educational institutions in Moscow and other regions of the country shared their environmental practices in environmental education, waste management, transportation, landscaping, responsible procurement, energy and water use.

Based on its 2024 performance, Gubkin University ranked 15th in the All-Russian ranking of green universities and second among Moscow universities. The ranking evaluates universities' efforts in the areas of ecology, sustainable development, and energy conservation. Gubkin University distinguished itself through the implementation of separate waste collection, the development of green campus infrastructure, environmental education events, and the scientific initiatives of the Sustainable Development Committee, the Student Scientific Society, and the Environmental Club.

The ranking is formed with the support of the All-Russian program "Green Universities of Russia", the Interregional Environmental Public Organization "ECA", and the Presidential Grants Fund.
