Gubkin University entered the top three according to university effectiveness monitoring

Based on the reported results of 2016, Gubkin University was ranked among the top three universities in Russia according to monitoring of the university effectiveness and received the highest scores meeting all criteria.

Gubkin University entered the group of leaders and became the third in Russia receiving the highest score – “A” according to all criteria. National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and Tomsk Polytechnic University are also among the top three universities.

Monitoring the activities of state educational institutions to assess their effectiveness has become one of the objectives of the state policy in education and science. According to the order of the Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation of 05.04.2017 No. 308, universities are required to present data on their activity for analysis of its effectiveness.

Based on the methodology, universities are ranked according to seven leagues, four evaluation vectors – A, B, C and D where the first league and evaluation vector “A” are considered the best indicators. The methodology takes into account seven major indicators, including academic activity, research, international activity, financial and economic activity, salaries of faculty members, employment of graduates and one additional indicator.
