Visit of the delegation of China University of Petroleum (Beijing)

On April 23, 2025, the delegation of China University of Petroleum (Beijing), headed by Vice President Li Jingye, visited Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University). The delegation also included: Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Lin Botao, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of New Energy and Materials Qiu Ping, Deputy Director of the International Department Li Lingyun, and Professor of the Faculty of Geosciences Song Zezhang. Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alexander Maksimenko met with the Chinese delegation.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the prospects for further development of bilateral scientific and educational cooperation between the two oil and gas universities. The participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of expanding the academic mobility of students and teachers, implementing joint research projects and exchanging experience in the field of innovations and technologies in the oil and gas sector.

Particular attention was paid to the discussion of issues of organizing internships for Chinese students at Gubkin University.

Representatives of both sides emphasized the importance of continuing mutually beneficial partnership and expressed confidence in further strengthening relations between our universities in the field of training highly qualified specialists and developing science and technology.
