Gubkin University develops cooperation with LUKOIL

On January 13, 2018 the Day of Professional Training for LUKOIL corporate leaders was hosted by Gubkin University. Over100 heads of Russian and foreign LUKOIL subsidiaries took part in the Day of Professional Training.

The Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov and the Vice President of LUKOIL for Human Resources Management and Corporate Structure Development Anatoliy Moskalenko welcomed the event participants.

As part of the event, the participants were acquainted with innovative educational technologies, methods and tools of training applied in virtual environment and used by Gubkin University for training specialists, including:

  • the Center for field development control;
  • the Academic and research training ground of oilfield equipment;
  • the Center for marine drilling;
  • the Full-scale simulator of virtual presence on the NOV drill ship;
  • the Virtual oil refinery;
  • the Training ground for pipeline transportation of oil.

For LUKOIL corporate leaders, Gubkin University faculty members developed a unique training program in various activity areas aimed to find innovative solutions in quality management.

The Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov and the Vice-President of LUKOIL for oiil refining, petrochemistry, and gas processing Rustem Gimaletdinov moderated the round table “Continuous Education of personnel engaged in technological processes to achieve competitive position in the age of the fourth industrial revolution”.

This is not the first experience of cooperation. On December 20, 2017 Gubkin University hosted a workshop for heads of HR services at LUKOIL subsidiaries. A special training program for this workshop was designed by the University faculty and the leading Russian business coaches.

At the end of the Day of Professional Training, the participants summarized the outcomes of the training, and mapped out new areas for cooperation between LUKOIL and Gubkin University.
