Gubkin University and Novosibirsk Scientific and Technical Center (NNTC) have signed a cooperation agreement on the use of DARCY software
Gubkin University has signed an agreement with the Novosibirsk Scientific and Technical Center (NNTC).
As part of the collaboration, NNTC is providing Gubkin University with DARCY software, which will be used in scientific and educational processes.
DARCY is a multidisciplinary interpretation platform that includes modules for loading, displaying, and interpreting a wide range of data: well logging, geological surveys, structural surfaces, and core data. The DARCY Geosteering module, designed for geological support of drilling and analysis of well logging data to maximize the efficiency of wellbore placement in productive formations, will be particularly useful for the educational process. This collaboration will allow Gubkin University students and faculty to gain access to cutting-edge tools for modeling and analysis in the oil and gas industry, helping to improve the quality of specialist training and develop innovative approaches to education.
