University students at the XVI All-Russian Youth Forum "Mashuk"

From August 9 to 23, 2025, the XVI All-Russian Youth Forum "Mashuk" was held, where three students from Gubkin University spent an intensive work week to create useful tools for all students in the country.

The second shift of the forum was truly labor-intensive for the team: Ilya Balov, a student of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development, worked as part of the Council of Students under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia in the section of "To Develop"; Alexander Gergelyuk, a student of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development, and Alyona Chebunkina, a student of the Faculty of Integrated Safety of the Fuel and Energy Complex, were trained under the "Movement of the First" program in the section of "To Mentor".

Over several days of intensive work, brainstorming sessions and consultations with experts, the "Develop" direction completed three key tasks:
1. Developing methodological recommendations for student councils.
2. Preparing recommendations for headmen.
3. Preparing a semi-annual report on the work of the Student Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

These developments are not just files in a document. These are ready-made "road maps" that will help student councils and headmen throughout Russia work more harmoniously and efficiently this academic year.

Alena Chebunkina and Alexander Gergelyuk participated in the "Guide" section.

During the educational program, participants got acquainted with various educational formats (games, trainings, master classes, lectures and others) and even developed their own: board games, quizzes and creative activities. They discussed how not to be boring, sometimes even in a game form, to convey the values and meanings of the "Movement of the First". Exchanged experiences with students and teachers from all over the country. Improved professional competencies in working with children's and adolescent groups.

In addition to the educational program, the forum included cultural, entertainment, sports and patriotic activities. Forum participants wove camouflage nets for special military operation fighters, played a military tactical game - laser tag - participated in creative workshops and sang songs around the campfire.
