University Representatives at the International Interreligious Youth Forum
On November 23, 2025, the International Interreligious Youth Forum, organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, was held at the Rossiya National Center. Gubkin University was represented at the forum by David Petrosyan, Director of the Center for the Formation and Protection of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values, and Daria Khoptovaya, Head of the "I Am Proud" Student Patriotic Club.
The forum brought together over 600 participants, including leaders of traditional faiths, government officials, experts, and students, to discuss the role of traditional religions in strengthening spiritual and moral values and interfaith dialogue.
The forum included thematic sections devoted to current issues of spiritual and social life, including "Religious Traditions and Family Values," "Faith 'Behind the Ribbon': The Experience of Spiritual Ministry in the North Caucasus Military District," and others.
Forum participants noted the importance of interreligious dialogue and cooperation in shaping the spiritual and moral values of young people and strengthening the unity of Russian society. The forum became a platform for exchanging experiences and developing joint solutions to pressing issues of interaction between the state, religious organizations, and young people.
The event was an important step in preparation for the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and contributed to strengthening interfaith harmony and spiritual and moral values among young people.
