University representative at the III All-Russian Interdepartmental Forum "Prevention Plan"

From February 12 to 13, 2025, the III All-Russian Interdepartmental Forum "Prevention Plan" was held at the site of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The forum brought together the heads of coordination centers for countering the ideology of terrorism and preventing extremism, representatives of higher education institutions, offices of anti-terrorism commissions of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as heads and specialists of executive authorities in the field of education and youth policy.

Gubkin University was represented by the head of the center for the formation and protection of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values ​​and semantic guidelines, assistant of the department of public and international legal support for national security David Petrosyan.

The key speakers at the plenary session of the forum included the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, Deputy Director of the FSB of Russia, Head of the Office of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee Igor Sirotkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation for Public Projects Alexey Avetisov, Referent of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Andrey Tretyakov, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky.

The forum discussed important topics such as best practices in preventive work, the formation of an active civic position among young people, the prevention of interethnic and interfaith conflicts, as well as methods of countering terrorist threats in the field of education. The participants exchanged views on modern destructive subcultures and the transformation of approaches to the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students in the context of current geopolitical realities.

Plenary sessions, strategic sessions, panel discussions and reports were aimed at identifying key vectors of preventive work for 2025 in the field of countering the ideology of terrorism. The forum became a significant platform for building interdepartmental cooperation and forming a strategy for preventive work for the coming year.

This event emphasized the importance of cooperation between various state and public structures in the fight against extremism.
