Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov took part in the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the 6th Future Leaders Forum

The Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov took part in the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council which will be held on 23 – 28 June 2019 in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The meeting of the Organizing Committee was chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and held in Moscow. The members of the Committee discussed a number of issues related to the organization of the Forum. “It is expected that the Forum will become the largest international platform for young professionals in the oil and gas industry. It will bring together hundreds of young people from various countries to discuss and focus on the most pressing and important issues of the strategic development of the oil and gas industry,” said the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.

Being the leading educational center for training specialists for the oil and gas industry in Russia, Gubkin University plays an active role in organizing the 6th Future Leaders Forum. Viktor Martynov was one of the initiators to nominate Russia as the host country of this world forum of students and young professionals in the oil and gas industry. The University administration takes measures to ensure the participation of a representative University delegation in the Forum.

Gubkin University is represented in the Organizing Committee by the Rector of Gubkin University Viktor Martynov, the Advisor to the Rector Anatoly Zolotukhin and the Assistant to the Rector Vlada Streletskaya.
