Gubkin University hosted the International Summer School

On July 30 – August 3, 2018 Gubkin University brought together over 80 students and lecturers who came to participate in the International Summer School.

This year, the Summer School was held as part of the UTFORSK program and with the support of University of Stavanger and Molde University College. The program included three subject areas – technology for efficient and safe development of the Artic, Artic logistics, and modern technology for well construction.

The School was attended by 60 international students from 18 countries and 19 universities. Faculty members from Russian and foreign universities, as well as professionals representing large oil and gas companies became the lectures. In total, 28 lecturers from six countries around the world delivered their lectures.

In addition to lectures, two working meetings were held with representatives of University of Stavanger and Molde University College.

12 Gubkin University students became volunteers and assisted in the organization of the Summer School activities.
