Educational trip to the homeland of Ivan Mikhailovich Gubkin

From March 15 to 16, 2025, an educational trip to the homeland of Ivan Mikhailovich Gubkin, to the village of Pozdnyakovo, was held. On the eve of the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the university, flowers were laid at the monument to Ivan Mikhailovich Gubkin and a meeting with schoolchildren at the local House of Culture took place.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Koshelev, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Work Anton Tumanov, during the event, memorable gifts were presented to the school and library of the village of Pozdnyakovo. University students delivered a presentation on the history and student government of Gubkin University. The excursion program included a visit to the historical sites of Murom and Vladimir. The students visited the monument to Ilya Muromets, the Transfiguration Monastery, the Annunciation Cathedral in Murom and the Assumption Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. Demetrius, and the Old Vladimir Museum in Vladimir.

The trip was attended by the best academic group of the university in 2024 - KZ-21-12, the best academic group of the first year of 2024 - KE-23-08, representatives of the United Council of Students and excellent students of the Military Training Center.
