A university student at the First International Professional Tourism Intensive "Ambassadors of Student Tourism"
From July 28 to 31, 2026, Kristina Markina, a student in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Ecology at Gubkin University, participated in the First International Professional Tourism Intensive "Ambassadors of Student Tourism" in Moscow.
For three days, the participants actively worked with federal experts, analyzed practical cases, developed their own initiatives, sought new solutions for developing youth tourism, and exchanged experiences with 90 leaders from 34 Russian regions, as well as guests from the Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Abkhazia.
Participants were particularly inspired by a meeting with Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and by the words of Svetlana Nekhorosheva, program director: "The most valuable thing is to see people who truly enjoy creating alongside you."
The Russian Ministry of Education and Science's "Student Tourism" program offers more than just the opportunity to travel. It teaches students to take responsibility, create projects, discover new routes, and inspire others.
