A university representative at the All-Russian educational event "University Coaches"

From July 12 to 15, 2026, the All-Russian educational event "University Coaches" was held in Pyatigorsk. Nearly 200 representatives of educational organizations from across the country gathered at the Mashuk Knowledge Center.

One of the forum participants was Olga Bakulina, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Gubkin University.

For three days, participants immersed themselves in a rich program that included strategic sessions, lively discussions, master classes, and project presentations. Olympic medalist, choreographer, and producer of ice shows and sporting events Ilya Averbukh also spoke at the motivational meeting "Mentor in Sports: How to Raise Champions for Life." The expert shared his experiences, discussed his life and professional path, and answered questions from the audience. The educational program was harmoniously complemented by a sports program. During morning exercises, participants climbed to the summit of Mount Mashuk and jogged to the site of Mikhail Lermontov's death and Lake Proval. In the evening, everyone could play football, volleyball, tennis, and badminton, as well as participate in a track and field relay race.

The all-Russian educational event "University Coaches" became not only a platform for sharing best practices but also a powerful source of energy. The knowledge gained, new sports mentoring techniques, and the vivid impressions from the master classes will certainly find application in their work with Gubkin University students, helping to develop not only physically fit but also goal-oriented students.
