Happy Russian Science Day!
Dear scientists, teachers, postgraduates and students of Gubkin University!
Today, the scientific community of our Fatherland celebrates Russian Science Day. The holiday is dedicated to a significant date: on February 8, 1724, by decree of Emperor Peter I, the Russian Academy of Sciences was created.
Over the past decades, Gubkin residents, who became great scientists, have made up the glory and pride of our country, and have had a huge influence on the science of our homeland and its development.
Gubkin University is not just an oil and gas university known throughout the world, not just a community of professionals. This is a university that plays a vital role in the Russian education system and training of personnel for the backbone industry of Russia.
The modern generation of scientists - our young scientists, postgraduates - successfully continue the glorious traditions of their predecessors. The University has come a long way in terms of transformation, and the enormous scientific experience, the wealth of knowledge accumulated over decades, open up new pages for us on the path of scientific research.
I wish everyone involved in science success in their difficult work, good health and well-being.
