Congratulations on Russia Day!

Dear colleagues, faculty, staff and alumni,

I congratulate you on Russia Day, one of the major national holidays of our country!

This day symbolises the unity, greatness and independence of our Motherland, uniting all who take pride in its heroic past, are building the present and believe in a successful future. Russia has always been a country of great discoveries, abundant natural resources and, most importantly, talented and dedicated people.

Today we face large-scale national objectives. Ensuring technological leadership and energy independence of our country is a priority, to the implementation of which Gubkin University makes a significant daily contribution by training future engineers, advancing science, and strengthening the country’s defence capability through the training of specialists for the Fuel Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Our common goal is to develop cutting-edge science, introduce innovations in the fuel and energy sector, and train those who tomorrow will tackle the most complex challenges for the benefit of the Fatherland.

On this festive day, I wish you good health, inexhaustible optimism, creative inspiration and new professional achievements for the benefit of our great Motherland!
