Winners and prize winners of the International Forum "Oil and Gas – 2025" at the TOFS Group production site

On September 12, 2025, the winners and prize winners of the 79th International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and Gas – 2025," students from Gubkin University, visited the Nizhnevartovsk plant producing submersible pumps for oil production belonging to TOFS Group.

During the tour, the students learned about the company's history, its key activities, and the modern technologies used to manufacture electric submersible pumps (ESPs). Gubkin University students and young specialists from Russian fuel and energy companies visited the plant, which manufactures and supplies complete ESP systems and their components. The tour also included a visit to the component machining shop, equipped with modern CNC machine tools.

Among the participants in the excursion were student winners and awardees, members of the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society, Ilya Aleksashov (group RS-23-10) and Yuri Shulmin (group RS-22-10). This trip not only provided an opportunity to become familiar with the cutting-edge technologies of the TOFS Group but also opened up new prospects for professional growth and development for young people in the industry.

Members of the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society are being represented at external venues through a federal budget subsidy to higher education institutions for the implementation of activities aimed at supporting student scientific communities, as part of the university's Student Scientific Society development program, "Unifying Science: From Popularization to Practice."
