University Student Wins European Archery Championships

On February 22, 2026, the European Archery Championships for U21s was held in Bulgaria, with a Gubkin University student participating.

Gubkin University student Stepan Butrym (YUT-24-02 group) took top honors in the Compound Bow division and received the following awards:
– Silver medals in the mixed team and junior team competitions, respectively;
– Bronze medal in the individual competition.

Furthermore, Stepan Butrym achieved the qualification for Master of Sports of Russia, International Class, at the tournament.
