Gubkin University students are winners and prize winners of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in Mathematics

From May 14 to 16, 2025, the final of the Open International Student Internet Olympiad in the discipline "Mathematics" was held at the Volga State Technological University in Yoshkar-Ola.

Teams from 41 universities came to the third in-person round of the Olympiad. The participants of the final stage were 78 students who successfully passed the first qualifying round and showed the best results among more than 300 participants in the second round.

All finalists from Gubkin University confirmed their high level and won Olympiad awards:

– first-degree diploma and gold medal of the Olympiad – student of group AM-24-06 Vyacheslav Dubov;
– third-degree diploma and bronze medal of the Olympiad – student of group AT-24-10 Dinh Chyk Hoang and student of group KI-23-01 Ilya Ratatayev.

Supervisor is the senior lecturer of the Department of Higher Mathematics Anastasia Ivanova.
