A university student is a prize winner at the 12th All-Russian Forum of Young Researchers "ChemBioSeasons 2026"

From April 20 to 24, 2026, the 12th All-Russian Forum of Young Researchers "ChemBioSeasons 2026" was held at the Higher School of Living Systems of the Public Scientific Research Center "Institute of Medicine and Life Sciences" of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad.

As part of the forum, a conference of young scientists was held from April 20 to 24, 2026, bringing together undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students from various universities in the Russian Federation and neighboring countries. The conference was organized into 15 sections: Human Physiology and Neurobiology; Bioengineering and Bioinformatics; Biotechnology (subsections: medical biotechnology, pharmacology, and tissue engineering; agricultural and food biotechnology; industrial, molecular, and environmental biotechnology); bioecology and environmental protection; chemistry (subsections: chemical engineering, physical and inorganic chemistry; organic synthesis and pharmaceutical chemistry; chemistry of natural compounds); ecology and sustainable development; modern approaches to disease prevention and diagnosis; fundamental medicine; current issues in dentistry.

The conference attracted over 400 participants. The program included oral and poster presentations, professional discussions, and interdisciplinary networking. Alexander Menshenin, Deputy Director of Regional Sales at Helikon, delivered the opening address.

Gubkin University was represented at the event by members of the Student Scientific Society and students from the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering: graduate student Lyubov Zatsepina (group HNA-25-03) presented a paper on "Hierarchical SAPO-31 Based on Natural Aluminosilicate for the Hydroisodewaxing of Diesel Fuel" and master's student Vladimir Klimovsky (group HTM-24-04) presented a paper on "Ru-Containing Catalysts Based on Natural Nanotubes for the Hydrofining of Bio-Oil."

Lyubov Zatsepina took third place in the "Chemical Technologies, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry" section. Vladimir Klimovsky actively participated in the discussion surrounding his paper and was awarded a conference participant certificate.

Alexander Glotov, PhD, a leading researcher in the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry, was responsible for the scientific preparation of the participants.

Representation of members of the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society at external venues is implemented within the framework of the university's Student Scientific Society development program "Strategy for New Discoveries."
