A university graduate and winner of the "Intern of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia" project met with Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation

On September 30, 2025, Ivan Vasiliev, a graduate of Gubkin University and winner of the third season of the "Intern of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia" project, participated in a meeting with Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

Ivan Vasiliev, an assistant professor in the Department of Oil, Gas, and Subsurface Hydromechanics, was among the top 30 winners of the third season of the "Intern of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia" project, out of more than 4,500 participants.

In July and August 2025, Ivan Vasiliev successfully completed a two-month internship at the Department of State Policy in Scientific and Technological Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

Ivan Vasiliev's successful participation in the project allowed him to be included in the talent pool of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. This underscores the effectiveness of the "Intern of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia" program as an effective tool for identifying and supporting talented young people for the development of science and higher education in the country.
