International Forum "Oil and Gas – 2026"

From April 21 to 24, 2026, the International Forum "Oil and Gas – 2026" is planned to be held at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Youth Council under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

Each year, the forum brings together over 1,500 leading experts, young scientists, and students from more than 280 Russian and international universities, industry organizations, and government agencies.

The forum will feature:

– A strategic panel session and informal meeting with industry and government representatives;
– The 80th International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and Gas – 2026";
– 19th All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Current Issues in the Development of the Russian Oil and Gas Complex";
– 6th Moscow International Forum "Energy Security. Eurasian Scenario";
– 10th All-Russian Competition for the Best Student Scientific Association in the Russian Oil and Gas Industry;
– 5th International Programming Championship "Digital Oil";
– Roundtable "Environmental Well-being – the Path to Sustainable Development";
– Exhibition display by Gubkin University and fuel and energy sector organizations;
– Trainings, excursions, and much more.

You can register and submit an application to participate in the forum on the official website.

Application, abstract, and article submission deadlines:

– 80th International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and Gas – 2026" – applications open until December 31, 2025;
– 19th All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Current Issues of Russian Oil and Gas Complex Development" – applications open until December 31, 2025;
– 5th International Programming Championship "Digital Oil" – applications open until April 1, 2026;
– 10th All-Russian Competition for the Best Student Scientific Association in the Oil and Gas Industry of Russia – applications open until April 1, 2026;
– Roundtable "Environmental Well-Being – the Path to Sustainable Development" – applications open until April 10, 2026;
– 6th Moscow International Forum "Energy Security. The "Eurasian Scenario" forum is open until April 7, 2026.

Forum events: applications for attendees are open until April 7, 2026.

In absentia participation in the forum is not permitted. Based on the results of the 80th International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and Gas – 2026," the 19th All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "Current Issues in the Development of the Russian Oil and Gas Complex," and the VI Moscow International Forum "Energy Security. The Eurasian Scenario," collections of abstracts and papers will be published, indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), and will include the work of only those participants who presented in person.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the sending party.
