Foreign Language Competition

A foreign language competition, organized by the International Committee of the Student Scientific Society of Gubkin University, will be held on May 15, 2026. Advance registration is required.

The foreign language competition is an excellent opportunity to test your skills and demonstrate your knowledge in tasks involving translation, comprehension, and oral comprehension. The event will be of interest to anyone studying English, Chinese, and Spanish. Students from various universities across Russia are invited to participate.

Participants' work will be reviewed by true experts in their field – foreign language teachers from specialized universities.

Each participant will receive a certificate, and diplomas and commemorative gifts have been prepared for the winners and runners-up.

Schedule:

– 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM in room 2426 – English (listening);
– 10:15 to 11:40 in Room 2310 – English (text translation);
– 11:30 to 1:30 in Room 2421 – Chinese (listening and text translation);
– 12:00 to 1:30 in Room 2422 – Spanish (text translation).

This event is part of the Gubkin University Student Scientific Society development program "Strategy for New Discoveries."
