The program we are presenting turned out to be relevant: we correctly identified goals, set priorities and developed the right strategy. Over the course of a year, we established a VR technology center and an interdisciplinary multifunctional center for digital twins, launched a scientific and educational weather and climate center that will deal with issues of optimizing the operation of the fuel and energy complex in a changing climate, and developed and implemented new educational programs. In addition, we opened new laboratories and significantly improved the infrastructure of the university. All projects within the training track are being successfully implemented. We rely on the development of additional education, training students for future professional activities.

1. Two laboratories are established under the guidance of young promising researchers: the Laboratory of Nanostructured Materials and Catalytic Processes for Carbon-Containing Raw Materials Processing and the Laboratory of Functional Energy-Saving Hybrid Materials.

2. Agreements are signed with Qilu University of Technology on the establishment of a Russian-Chinese joint laboratory of functional materials and green energy.

3. A three-year project on synthesis and research of metastable catalysts for hydrocarbon isomerization processes is being implemented jointly with the Northwest University of Technology in Beijing.

4. A hybrid polymer composite based on nanocellulose and polystyrene is being developed for the production of biodegradable packaging for the Association of Packers of Russia.

5. Thermal storage resource-saving coatings based on hybrid phase transition materials are being developed for Rosrezerv enterprises.

3. A body for validation and verification of greenhouse gases is established. A set of documents of the quality system for state accreditation is prepared. Experts from among the University faculty members are certified. The directions of design work and development of technologies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are determined.

Sergey Grinyaev, Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex, and Ilya Samarin, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation of Technological Processes, were awarded in the area "Training technology of monitoring computer attacks and responding to computer incidents".
