The finals of the contest Mister Gas 2018 was held at Gubkin University

On April 17, 2018 as part of special events dedicated to the 88th anniversary of Gubkin University, the finals of the contest Mister Gas 2018 was held in the Palace of Culture "Gubkinets". The title of Mister Gas of Gubkin University was awarded to the student of the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering Maxim Grishokin.

The contest was held with the support of MOSGAZ company.

Over 1,000 students and their parents, faculty and staff members, heads of Russian and international oil and gas companies, representatives of government bodies and public organizations came to watch the bright event and follow the contest results.

The contest jury was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Education of Gubkin University Marina Filatova.

Participants competed for victory in the following contest assignments: a presentation, a military and sport assignment, action defile, an intellectual assignment, ballroom etiquette and a creative assignment.

According to the results of the contest and the jury's evaluation, every participating gentleman became a winner in a certain category, including the following:

Mister Audience Choice, Mister Sport – Artur Martynevsky, the representative of the Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems;
Mister Charisma – Ruslan Kochkarev, the representative of the Faculty of International Energy Business;
Mister Creativity – Denis Mayorov, the representative of the Faculty оf Mechanical Engineering;
Mister Determination – Evgeny Volkov, the representative of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science;
Mister Reliability – Vsevolod Murashkin, the representative of the Faculty of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics;
Mister Professionalism – Ilya Tyuryakov, the representative of the Faculty of Law;
Mister Energy – Rostislav Skorobreshchuk, the representative of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
