Miss University – Oil Queen 2023 was held at Gubkin University
On 17 March 2023, Miss University – Oil Queen 2023 was held at Gubkin University. Ten most talented female students took part in the contest. Ms. Anastasia Rybalkina – a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering became the winner.
Professor Viktor Martynov, Rector of Gubkin University, and Professor Vladimir Koshelev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the contest with welcome remarks.
The annual contest "Miss University – Oil Queen" is a long-awaited event among the university students that creates unforgettable atmosphere. Gubkin University leadership and faculty, students and graduates as well as representatives of leading oil and gas companies and government authorities attended in the event.
This year, the participants demonstrated their talents in such contest categories as defile, creative competition, dance competition and others. According to the results of the contest and the jury's evaluation, every participating lady became a winner in a certain category, including the following:

- Miss Perfection – Maria Murygina, Faculty of Economics and Management
- Miss Charisma – Inzira Kireeva, Faculty of Design, Construction and Exploitation of Pipeline Transport Systems
- Miss Originality – Ekaterina Volkova, Faculty of Integrated Security of the Fuel and Energy Complex
- Miss Musicality – Yulia Sokolova, Faculty of Oil and Gas Field Development
- Miss Romance – Varvara Morozova, Faculty of Law
- Miss Artistry – Anastasia Gerasimova, Faculty of International Energy Business
- Miss Inspiration – Elizaveta Buyanova, Faculty of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics
- Miss Charm – Irina Grushina, Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering
- Miss Grace – Elizaveta Kraus, Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering
Based on the voting records in social networks, the title of Miss Audience Choice was awarded to Elizaveta Kraus.
Based on the voting records, Anastasia Rybalkina – a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering became Miss University – Oil Queen 2023.
