Gubkin University ranked among top 30 Russian universities by Forbes
On 23 December 2022, Forbes presented the fifth ranking of top 100 universities in Russia. The main trend of this year is strengthening of positions of metropolitan universities: seven universities from Moscow, two universities from St. Petersburg and one regional university entered top ten. Same as in 2021, Gubkin University entered top 30, taking the 28th place.
The list includes 635 universities. All participants in the list meet three mandatory requirements the awarded Russian accreditation and the right to issue state-recognized diplomas, the number of students at least 100 and the availability of undergraduate or specialist programs. The ranking does not cover branches, religious and military universities, as well as educational institutions offering postgraduate programs.
The ranking is compiled based on the data of the university effectiveness monitoring presented by the Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation, results of the survey of 100 leading employers in Russia and data from open sources.
Universities are evaluated according to five metrics: the demand for graduates, the quality of networking, the quality of teaching, international reputation, the Forbes factor.
