Gubkin University announced results of the admissions campaign 2021
On 17 August 2021, the admissions campaign for the state-funding places, including Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s degree programs, was finished at Gubkin University. In total, 1,358 undergraduate applicants and 606 graduate applicants were enrolled at the University.
In 2021, the admission campaign was held online. Every applicant had the opportunity to sign in and submit documents through Gubkin University electronic system.
“The admission campaign in 2021 was organized in the online format, there was no live communication with applicants, the call center personnel of Gubkin University worked in the continuous mode, taking care of all the enquiries. In general, the University team coped with the task. We plan to use the gained experience in further admissions campaigns,” – said Professor Viktor Pirozhkov, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee.
In total, 17,976 applications were received by the Admissions Office in 2021. The competition rate was 19 applicants per study place. This year the most popular program among the applicants became Legal Support of National Security.
Applicants from various countries of the world, including Afghanistan, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bolivia, Botswana, Bulgaria, Chad, China, Columbia, Congo, Cuba, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Jordan, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Syria, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, received the opportunity to study at Gubkin University.
