Dr. Anatoly Zolotukhin received SPE Distinguished Member Award

On 26 October 2020, Dr. Anatoly Zolotukhin, Advisor to the Rector of Gubkin University, Professor of the Department of Petroleum Reservoir Engineering, Senior Vice President of the World Petroleum Council and Coordinator of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter became the honorary member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Dr. Anatoly Zolotukhin was recognized for his outstanding contribution to the oil and gas industry, his extraordinary record as a researcher and professor, training and mentoring petroleum engineers, authoring of more than 20 books along with numerous other book chapters and technical articles, as well as for his active participation in the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

SPE award winners were nominated by their peers and selected for their contributions and achievements. Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is the largest individual-member organization serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry. Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter was established in 2003 in order to involve the University students in international research and professional environment. It maintains contacts with other SPE Student Chapters around the world and holds various international events as well as receives international delegations and industry representatives at Gubkin University.
