Gubkin Humanitarian Readings

In September 2020, the Department of Philosophy, Social and Political Technologies of Gubkin University will host the 5th International Conference “Gubkin Humanitarian Readings” under the title “Information society: limits and risks – past, present, future”. The Conference will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 90th anniversary of Gubkin University.

The program of the event includes the following key topics:

1. Myths, reality, prospects of the digital economy.
2. Digital transformation of education and generation gap.
3. Cognitive uncertainty and digital society.
4. Digital divide.
5. Digital science: competition of paradigms and ambiguity in cognition.
6. Digital capital and destiny of generations.
7. Historical view of the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War.

The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English.
