International cooperation

Gubkin University has established partnership agreements with a number of the world leading international universities to exchange teaching techniques. Among the partners are:
- IFP School in France;
- Freiberg Mining Academy and Siegen University in Germany;
- University of Stavanger in Norway;
- Krakow Polytechnic University in Poland;
- Mining University of Leoben in Austria;
- China University of Petroleum (Beijing);
- Ajou University in South Korea;
- University of Alaska Fairbanks and University of Anchorage in the U.S.A.;
- Miskolc University, Eötvös Loránd University, and University of Pannonia,Veszpr
m in Hungary;
and many other well established educational centers worldwide.

The University has partner relations with the largest foreign oil and gas companies, such as:
- “BP” (Great Britain),
- “Total” (France),
- “Statoil” (Norway),
- “PetroVietnam” (Vietnam),
- “Shell” (Netherlands-Great Britain),
- СNPC and “Sinopec” (China),
- “ConocoPhillips” (USA),
and service companies:
“Schlumberger” (USA), “Halliburton” (USA), Baker Hughes” (Great Britain), “Falck Nutec” (Norway), “Tokyo Boeki” (Japan) and others.

According to the terms of cooperation agreements the foreign partners take part in implementation of educational, scientific and social projects of the University, deliver presentations of their companies and organize internships at their facilities.
